Raduno Welcome and Garage Session at
La Moto Washington
Rally Check In, Arrosticini Barbecue and Wrenching Session
The Raduno kicked off at La Moto Washington located at 3298 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22201 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
Registered riders picked up their rally package, sign the waiver, and enjoy an illuminating wrenching session in the La Moto garage with Piaggio Certified Master Mechanics.

Raduno Breakfast, Saturday, Honoring Corradino D'Ascanio
RADUNO BREAKFAST EVENT DEDICATED TO CORRADINO D'ASCANIO
Corradino D'Ascanio was born in Popoli (Regione Abruzzo) and worked for most of his life in Tuscany for Piaggio.
To honor his contribution to the world, the creation of the Vespa, the Vespa Committee of Washington DC honored D'Ascanio at a breakfast sponsored by the American Petroleum Institute at Casa Italiana at 8:00am, 595 Third Street, NW Washington, DC 20001. General sponsors of all Raduno events include also Abruzzo Molise Heritage Society and La Moto Washington.

The Gymkhana started and ended at Rally Hotel, Marriott Courtyard Washington, DC, 901 L Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Gymkhana leader is Charles Smeed. 2019 Raduno Gymkhana Champion is Eileen Vitelli.
Eileen receives both the medal and her name engraved forever on the Coppa Storica.

AFTER THE GYMKHANA, EXCLUSIVELY FOR REGISTERED RALLY PARTICIPANTS, ENJOY AN INTIMATE DINNER. 2019 was Sponsored by Longthrow Media Division of Meaux Group. Dinner prepared by A. Litteri, fine imported Italian products.

AFTER DINNER, THE TONY RICHARDS CONCERT ENTERTAINED EVERYONE
Concert entertainment featured Tony Richards, Italian American guitarist and recording artist of Chicago. Registered Rally participants got entrance with their Raduno Credential. A limited number of tickets for NON-RALLY SPECIAL GUESTS were available for a donation of $25. Sponsored by Longthrow Media Division of Meaux Group.

Night Ride

Post-Concert Night Ride of DC
After the Concert, riders enjoyed the beautiful illumination of Washington in a ride around the monuments, including the US CAPITOL.
